Belmore Project
The Belmore Project includes a cluster of four small discrete magnetic anomalies located on the outer margin of a significantly larger and deeply buried magnetic feature. The anomalies are buried beneath Quaternary cover though appear to occur at or near to the contact of Ordovician Girilambone sediments and overlying Jurassic sediments. Bodies of Ordovician ultrabasic intrusives are mapped to the northwest. Structurally, the anomalies appear to sit directly on an interpreted major NW-trending structure that could act as the plumbing system for small porphyry intrusions to rise from a larger intrusive body at depth.
