Jumble Plains Project
Jumble Plains is a cluster of four small discrete magnetic anomalies located on the southeast outer margin of a significantly larger and deeply buried magnetic feature. The anomalies are located at depth within Ordovician Girilambone sediments and partially overlain by Quaternary drainage alluvium. No evidence of the large east-west magnetic feature can be determined from surface geology suggesting a deep source to this anomaly. The project is in a similar structural setting to the Belmore project. Four shallow drill holes were completed during the 1980s and the bottom 16 metres of one hole contained anomalous nickel (227ppm Ni weighted average).
