Wilmatha Hill is a circular potassium radiometric anomaly associated directly with the intrusion of the Devonian Wilmatha Granite into rocks of the Ordovician Girilambone Group. The target is located approximately 6 km east of the Mineral Hill copper-gold mine and is surrounded at its southern contact by old copper and gold workings, namely the Wilmatha and Mahgalore copper mines. The old workings have not been drill tested previously.
